How telehealth works
Telehealth allows you to meet with Dr. Gold by private video from a suitable location. Contact the office for the current waiting-room instructions and to confirm whether an online appointment is appropriate for your needs.
Preparing for a session
- Choose a private, quiet space where you can speak freely.
- Use a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.
- Allow time to test audio and video before the appointment.
- Have the practice phone number available in case the connection is interrupted.
Availability and limitations
Licensing rules generally require a patient to be physically located in a state where the psychologist is authorized to practice. Telehealth is not appropriate for every situation and is not an emergency service.
For emergencies
Call 911 if there is immediate danger. In the United States, call or text 988 for mental health crisis support.
